Recreation
Cortlandt Manor's wonderful parks, theaters,
golf courses, and other recreational attractions are all within
close proximity to Arrowcrest at Hollow Brook. The new Annsville
Creek Paddlesport Center, the first and only canoe and kayak
center, is located on the lower Hudson River. It offers public
access for cartopable boats from a wheel chair accessibledock,
canoe, kayak sales and tours. Some of the other recreational
opportunities include hiking trails through Camp Smith, Ocawana
Island, the Peekskill - Briarcliff Trailway, Charles Cook Park
and parts of the Blue Mountain Reservation. The newly restored
Steamboat Dock is also a perfect spot to park, picnic and watch
the river.
Golf
Arrowcrest at Hollow Brook was created as a
prominent element of the newly opened Hollow Brook Golf Club.
The Club offers a unique golfing experience at one of Westchester's
finest golf courses. The purchaser of a home at Arrowcrest may
also purchase a reduced private membership at Hollow Brook Golf
Club. The private club offers Town residents the opporutnity
to play and reserve tee-times as well as discounted greens fees
on designated days. Membership to the Golf Club allows members
the opportunity to play at 6 other private clubs in the area
as part of its "Club Max" program. With its rolling
hills and the pristine Hollow Brook stream traversing the property,

Entertainment
The Paramount Center for the Performing Arts
in Peekskill offers a true center for the arts, with live performances,
arts-in-education programs, films and visual art exhibitions.
The Croton Cortlandt Center for the Arts (C/CCA) provides quality
art classes, workshops and opportunities to both children and
adults in Northern Westchester.
The Schools
The Town is divided into five elementary schools
for grades K-5, the Lakeland Cooper Beech Middle School for
grades 6-8 and 9th through 12th graders attend either Lakeland
High School or Walter Panas High School. You'll discover the
the vast majority of the Lakeland School District graduates
attend some of America's top universities and colleges. Additional

The
Shopping
The Cortlandt Town Center and the adjacent commercial
establishments along Route 6, offer a permier regional shopping
destination for residents. Here you will find such "big
box" retailers as Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Barnes and Noble,
Pier One, Linen's N' Things, Kohl's, Circuit City and more.
Down the road is the Jefferson Valley Mall anchored by Sears
and Macy's with more than 90 specialty shops.
Location
With the Taconic Parkway, Bear Mountain Parkway,
Route 202 and Route 6 traversing through the area, both the
town and the regional area is easily accessible. Traveling South,
Metro North offers a quick 45-minute trip to New York City by
express rail from the Cortlandt train station and White Plains
is a short 25-minute drive.
